Almost five years ago I met this girl at the Boogaloo.
We ended up getting married and living happily ever after.
And when my baby boy came in from Texas for his 21st birthday, we all
went to the Boogaloo to celebrate and listen to Larry McCray. Lots of
important stuff happens down there. Seems like there should be a couple
of signs, like: "Here's where Mary was sitting when she met Russell -
April 6, 2001"
Of course, there is
another important sign. My partner Chuck and I have come to believe that
we've not been performing down at the Boogaloo because we've gotten a
reputation for breaking some of the House Rules. But really...........,
we can stop anytime we want to. Well, O.K., the Mustang Sally thing is
really tough cause once you get started, it really has no ending.
But
we were playing at an outdoor venue, wondering how we were going to
stop, ......and the generator died.
