I suppose that it is one of the privileges of parenthood that you
develop these series of speeches that have been heard so many times that
the kids give them names. "Cardboard Box" was about the accommodations
reserved for those who might not choose to take education
seriously..............and there was a corollary entitled "Trailer
Living for the Woman Who Has Nothing (except an abusive husband, six
kids, and a 2 pack a day habit."
I'm pretty sure she didn't work this
hard just so she wouldn't have to hear those speeches again, but maybe
it didn't hurt.
Either way......, I am, and always will be, the very proud father of
the one and only Amazing Sarah.
