I've said it before, but................ if you walk into your local bar, sit down amongst a group of strangers,
and start showing people your scars, and telling stories about how you got
them……you pretty quickly end up drinking alone.
However if you take those same stories, cut them up into short sentences,
make sure every other line rhymes, and put a tune to it……....
well, before
long you're making a CD so people can still listen when they get home.
So, "Girl From Philadelphia" is my story. Any attempts to protect the
innocent, punish the guilty, or give due regard to the deserving are
entirely inadvertent and may have been sacrificed in the interest of my own
amusement. Any similarities to persons or events, either real or imagined,
may not be coincidental, but should not be construed as an endorsement of
any particular viewpoint other than mine. No one was seriously injured in
the writing of these songs; however, there were some incidences of cardial
fractures, light rashes, and chafing that may have
left some minor scarring.
I've decided on a little bit different marketing strategy for this CD. I
suppose I could attempt to sell millions of copies and make a few dollars on
each one. But that seems like a lot of work. I've decided it would be much
easier if I could just sell one copy for a really good price. So if you're
interested, I do, in fact, have a CD, and I could probably part with it for
something like....say $1,329,299. That should be enough that I can finally
buy a small bungalow in Manhattan Beach.
In the meantime, since you're here, feel free to listen to the music
right here on this webpage....... and think about it.....wouldn't it be an
awesome thing to have the one and only copy of "Girl From Philadelphia"?
Your friends would talk about you.
